Mahavishnu generously teaches the Paramporul Yogam to everyone, driven not by profit but by a deep desire to help people attain Mukti. This ancient practice is available to all individuals above the age of 16, as it is considered unsuitable for younger participants. Those who join the classes and learn Paramporul Yogam may have questions, which will be answered by Mahavishnu himself and a team of dedicated volunteers.
Traditionally, Paramporul Yogam has not been taught through videos, as there was no helpline available to address all the queries that might arise. However, given the increasing number of disasters and the urgent need for spiritual guidance, Mahavishnu has decided to adapt and teach the practice through videos. Now, after learning Paramporul Yogam, students can simply leave a comment with their questions, and experienced disciples and volunteers will respond. This virtual Deeksha allows the practice to reach a wider audience, ensuring that everyone can benefit from it. After learning the yogam, regular practice is encouraged for the best results. Also, you can teach the paramporul yogam to anyone and there are no restrictions.
Managing Heat During Paramporul Yogam:
Paramporul Yogam produces pure heat in the body, which must be neutralized as the body acclimates to this new energy. This can be managed by:
• Applying oil to the navel and feet.
• Bathing twice a day.
• Consuming food with ghee to reduce the heat.
Preparing for Paramporul Yogam:
Before beginning the exercise for the first time, practitioners should:
1. Light a lamp in front of them.
2. Think of their Guru and focus on the light from the center of their eyebrows.
3. Worship the Guru before starting the Yogam.
4. After practicing this yogam, it’s best to wait for one or two hours before taking a bath to allow your body to cool down naturally. Alternatively, you can bathe before your yoga session.
5. If you plan to eat before doing yoga, wait for 2-3 hours after your meal to ensure proper digestion.
6. Begin with your physical exercises first, and then proceed to Paramporul Yoga for optimal results.
Paramporul Yogam can be practiced anytime and anywhere. However, the ideal time for this practice is during the Brahma Muhurta, between 3:20 AM and 4:20 AM. After completing your practice during this time, you may return to sleep if desired. Although Brahma Muhurta is recommended, you can also perform the yogam at any time that is convenient for you.
When choosing a direction for your practice, it is best to sit facing either North to South or South to North. Other directions are acceptable but are considered secondary preferences.
Once seated, adopt the Padmasana position if possible. If you are unable to sit in Padmasana, simply choose a comfortable yoga position that suits you. It is important not to sit directly on a bare surface; instead, place a towel, mat, or any material on the surface before sitting. Since the practice generates pure heat, a barrier is necessary to prevent the earth from absorbing this energy. A white cloth is recommended for this purpose. The cloth or mat you use should be dedicated solely to your meditation practice and should not be shared or used for other purposes. A darbha grass mat is highly recommended because it can store the excess energy generated during yogam. The next time you sit on the mat, the stored energy will be transferred back to you, enhancing your practice.
If you have physical limitations that make sitting difficult, you can perform the yogam in any comfortable position. It is also recommended that husbands and wives practice separately, as one’s growth in yogam could affect the other’s. Therefore, it is best to sit individually and practice Paramporul Yogam separately.
IMPORTANT: Before beginning and concluding the yogam, it is important to recite the Guru Mantra. Expressing gratitude to the Guru is not just a formality, but a responsibility. The Guru is the one who guides us, helping us transcend ego and arrogance as we progress on this spiritual path. Respect for the Guru should always come first. You can honor the Guru by saying “Guru Vanakkam,” either by bringing your palms together in a gesture of respect and touching the center of your eyebrows, or by placing your hands in Chin Mudra.
Three Stages of Paramporul Yogam:
1. Mantra
2. Nishtai
3. Sirchabai
To begin the practice of Paramporul Yogam, follow these steps:
1. Mantra
Mantra: “Kanchi Viswanatha Swamigal.”
Duration: 15 minutes.
Method:
– Sit straight in Chin Mudra.
– Close your eyes and silently chant the mantra from the center of your eyebrows.
– This should be done without opening your mouth, as the chant should be mental.
– As you focus on the mantra, you may feel the Kundalini energy rising from the base of your spine toward the top of your head.
– If you feel dizzy or lose balance, gently return to the sitting position and continue.
2. Nishtai
Focus: “Center of the eyebrows”.
Method:
• After completing the mantra, continue sitting straight and focus your attention on the center of your eyebrows.
• During this stage, do nothing but maintain your focus. The Kundalini energy awakened by the mantra will concentrate here.
• Over time, this focus may help open your third eye, leading to deeper spiritual insights.
• There is no set time limit for Nishtai. It can be practiced anytime, as long as you are comfortable. There is no time duration.
3. Sirchabai
Focus: “Soft palate (Sirchabai)”.
Method:
• This stage is more advanced and should be approached with care.
• Inside the mouth, there’s a small inner tongue located towards the back, near the soft palate. The upper part of this soft palate is known as the “Sirchabai.” You can easily locate it. When you pronounce the Tamil character “ஃ,” hold the sound without releasing it. Pay attention to where your tongue makes contact. The spot where your tongue touches the upper soft palate is what we call the Sirchabai.
• Focus on this spot for one minute. Do not exceed this time limit.
• Be aware that during this practice, you may experience some breathing difficulty as your breathing shifts from external to internal. This is normal and a sign of progress.
• If the discomfort is too much, stop and rest. You should never strain yourself during this practice.
Additional Guidelines:
• Shambavi Mudra: If you have no history of eye or skull surgeries, you may practice the Shambavi Mudra by opening your eyes and gazing at the center of your eyebrows. This can amplify the effects of the practice, but it may cause discomfort at first. Once practiced, you can see better results.
• Caution for Post-Surgical Practitioners: If you’ve had eye or skull surgeries, avoid the Shambavi Mudra and always keep your eyes closed during the practice.
• Mind Control: The mind may wander during the practice. Whenever this happens, bring your focus back to the center of your eyebrows. Consistent practice is key, and over time, you’ll notice gradual improvements.
Remember: Yoga is a gradual journey. Don’t rush for results. With patience and regular practice, you will experience the transformative effects of Paramporul Yogam.
Utilizing the Power of Paramporul Yogam:
After completing the final stage of Paramporul Yogam, do not rush to rise immediately. You will find yourself in a transformed state of being. At this moment, you are in direct alignment with the divine, and anything you seek—whether material desires or spiritual growth—can be granted. You may also ask for blessings on behalf of others. If you find that you have no specific request, simply surrender yourself completely to the divine presence. To make a request, follow this sacred procedure.
1. Position your hands in a welcoming gesture, with your thumbs gently touching the center between your eyebrows.
2. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in. Hold your breath, and without speaking aloud or forming the words, silently focus your mind on what you wish to ask for. Direct this intention from the center of your eyebrows.
3. Limit your request to two things per session. Once you have made your request, release your breath and relax.
4. If there is a particular desire or need, focus on it consistently and persistently in subsequent sessions, as this will hasten its manifestation.
After this, say the guru mantra complete the yogam, and get up.
This practice of Paramporul Yogam has the power to create miracles, heal various challenges, and resolve many issues, both for yourself and others.
Post Yogam Practice:
1. It is also recommended to focus between the center of the eyebrows always. No matter what work you do, whether it’s a mundane task or something significant, focus your attention on the point between your eyebrows, at the center of your forehead. As you cultivate this practice, your life energy will increase, and in time, your third eye will open. This isn’t an easy path, but with gradual and consistent effort, it becomes attainable. This technique is also suggested during intimate moments; by concentrating on this point, you can achieve deeper satisfaction, reducing future desires.
The space between your eyebrows is where the divine resides. By focusing here, you keep the presence of God in your thoughts. With continued practice, this connection deepens, allowing you to become one with the divine and unlock the secrets of the universe.
2. When you experience a headache after doing the yogam, try focusing on the Mooladhara chakra instead of immediately reaching for medication. If you’re having trouble concentrating on this area, gently pinch the spot to help direct your focus. Close your eyes, relax, and meditate on the Mooladhara for 30 minutes to an hour. This simple practice can help alleviate the headache. Remember, your body has a natural ability to heal itself, so consider this method before turning to tablets.
3. To open your third eye sooner, consider visiting the Paramporul Foundation YouTube channel and exploring the Light Lamp Meditation practice. When you do the Paramporul yogam after doing the Light lamp meditation, you will get quicker results.
For the best results, practice regularly and consistently. Although results may not be immediate, persistent effort will lead to meaningful outcomes and help you achieve your goals. Focus on the practice and allow time for the benefits to manifest.
Do the Nadi Shuddhi Exercise Before and After Paramporul Yogam:
Before beginning your Paramporul Yogam practice, consider incorporating a brief Naadi Shuddhi exercise. This simple breathing technique, practiced for just 2-3 minutes, can help stabilize your breath and clear any blockages in the Naadi, or energy channels, of your body. By doing so, you’ll enter your yogam session with a more balanced and focused state of mind.
After completing your yogam, you might find yourself in a deep, relaxed state. To gently bring yourself back to normalcy, you can perform Naadi Shuddhi once again, this time more forcibly for 2-3 minutes. This practice will help you reestablish a steady breath and gradually transition out of the yogic state.
Final Recommendations:
• Sleep between 9-10 PM.
• Eat food and drink water only when the body requires it.
• Practice Paramporul Yogam regularly, without expecting any results, to see the real benefits over time.
By following these guidelines and practicing Paramporul Yogam consistently, practitioners can lead a better life, free from diseases, and achieve all their life goals.
Conclusion:
When practicing Paramporul Yogam diligently, you may begin to experience extraordinary powers. It’s essential to remain humble, as the ego can easily take hold when you encounter such unimaginable abilities. To continue receiving God’s grace and blessings, it’s crucial to stay vigilant, practice humility, and keep your heart centered in modesty. This will allow you to deepen your spiritual journey and attract even greater divine favor.
